It's not a tradition if it doesn't happen...

Les bon temps roulette! It ain't healthy to roll around in the post-storm hurt. Let's have a party! In spite of the many practical reasons not to have the reunion, I vote to have at least a weekend event with a Saturday picnic and a night of revelry, and possibly a community cleanup event on Sunday. I have already booked a flight. And if other out of towners want to attend, they certainly know what they'll be facing. If anyone local reading this has extra bedrooms (even a tent or a FEMA trailer) to accomodate some folks, please leave a comment.

I was there for Katrina and am very interested in seeing how things are going one year later. And I want to see all my neighborhood buds, not to mention my family still there on the coast.

Thanks for the optimistic interjection! Just the words we need to hear.

I hope that we can all get together this summer, especially after the crazy year we have all had. Even though there is still a lot to do, the Coast is looking better every day.

We could still do something at the pool in College Park.

If you need any help, please contact me. I am in Gulfport all the time.
