Hi from the Boettchers
Hi everyone. Jim Kennedy found me and told me about the reunions you guys have been having without me or the rest of the Boettcher's! So glad to hear of the 3rd Bi-annual to be held Labor Day weekend. I'll tell my brother and sisters. We grew up on Swetman Blvd in the 60's and early 70's. Nothing tentative about how you are getting into the reunion swing of things!!
I was over at my sister Kim last night (Benicia, CA). I think she was in the same class as your brother, Tommy. Well I certainly hope that your blog entry will lead to some other connections with more of the folks running in our time period. My take is that the organizers and many of the reunion attendees seemed to be of the group a few years behind us. They seemed to be a bit more active in neghborhood activities than we were. I certainly would like to hear from the Bourdelon's (sp ?), Baxter's, Butler's and Hall's. Should someone wish to ring me up my cell number is 707-319-7508. Well Mr. Jim and Ms. Susan you've been missing out and it's time to come home to your roots. It may have been a younger group to organize these gatherings but let me assure you all ages have attended and it's a wonderful experience. Last re-union,( 04') the parents almost out-numbered the "kids" Kids=50 yrs plus so, everyone can participate and enjoy the festivities. So get your parents and that lazy brother Tom over here in September and have some fun. Acccomidations are alittle slim so use your creativity along those lines. WELCOME,WELCOME,WELCOME
Good to hear from all the people we grew-up with and it's gonna be hard to adjust to "Nick" especially "Lesterboy" cause "boy" just don't fit.Bring your clubs!!
