Until a few weeks after Katrina this bombproof Humpty Dumpty sat on the corner of Cowan and Highway 90, situated basically at sea level. This pic was taken the day after the storm. His raised hand was about 14' high. The storm surge was at least 28 feet in this area, which meant Humpty had an additional 14' of water over the top of his hand for several hours. Miraculously, he survived with nothing more than skinned knees. Oh the irony.

It was on the northwest corner of Cowan and 90 on the Fun Time USA property, and more accurately, probably 3-4 feet above sea level.
