The neighborhood's still a wild place

Wow, an adult alligator in the creek next to Anniston Elementary. I can remember lots snakes around the playground, one copperhead for sure and at least two water moccasins. But no gators.

Rufus, gator, Bayou Bernard Blow Fly Inn, 1983, shot full of arrows- bowhunter- 13 ft long- my aunt found him wounded, Marine Life took him. Made national news, I found out about it from corporate engineer from PA in their hometown newspaper. But recently on Government St in Ocean Springs, true, saw a road kill gator 3 ft long. Why was he trying to cross the road? Also saw Bald Eagle on Davis Bayou same day, in tree, eating snake! -Jean

Actually, I learned from Reilly Morse that the little creek has a name:

Adrenaline Creek

No idea how that came to pass...
